K.J. Singh - Honorary Vice-Chairman
Over the last 35 years, KJ Singh has worked with top singers and composers
of India, gaining valuable experience and insight into the working of the
Indian Music and Film Industry. He has worked closely with various new
artists/bands and helped them achieve their sound, get a vision, and build
confidence in their abilities to make songs and sell albums.
The Mumbai based audio engineer/music producer has won the 54th National
Film Award for Best Audiography and Filmfare Award for Best Sound Design for
his work on the 2006 film Omkara and Pro Sound Systems - AES India Awards
2006 for Mixing/Mastering the Best Recorded Film Soundtrack for Tu Bin
Bataye from the film Rang De Basanti.
Kj Singh Has worked with top music composers from the film industry such as
Vishal Bhardwaj, AR Rahman, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Amit Trivedi, Jagjit Singh,
Hariharan, Jassi Jasbir, Kailash Kher, Sanjeev-Darshan, Neeraj Shridhar,
Tauseef Akhtar, Shamir Tandon, Raghu Dixit.He has also worked as a Music &
Audio Content Producer, including composing and producing sabads, songs and
background music on major projects that speak for themselves, such as
Sultanpur Lodi Sound & Light Show Commemorating the 550th Year of Sri Guru
Nanak Dev Ji's Prakash Purabh, Golden Temple Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar,
Punjab and Water Installation at T2 Airport Terminal, Mumbai.
KJ is also the Live Sound Engineer for composer AR Rahman's concerts since
2003 and has worked with other artists like Hari Haran, Colonial Cousins,
Jagjit Singh, Indian Ocean, Rabbi Shergill, Euphoria, Parikrama, and Lucky
Ali.
