THE INDIAN RECORDING ARTS ACADEMY AWARDS PROCESS


The process begins with music producers, recording and mixing engineers and industry professionals submitting entries, as per the categories, which are then screened for eligibility. IRAA’s 11 member jury panel who are all involved creatively and/or technically in the recording and music production industry, will listen to the audio files submitted by the nominees and will determine the winner.


SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES


Music producers and recording professionals must enter recordings released during the period January 2017 – December 2017, which they consider worthy of nomination in the Indian Recording Arts Awards process. The entry form will available on the IRAA website till 30th April 2018, which is the last date for submission.


SCREENING


The nominations will be reviewed by the jury to ensure that the submissions meet the eligibility criteria and have been placed in its appropriate and proper category.



THE WINNER


The finalists will be determined by IRAA’s jury members after listening to all the audio files received, and by evaluating them on pre-determined criteria for assessment. There is no voting. Final authority is with Jury and their decision is binding on the nominees.
